The University at Stony Brook is located on the north shore of Long Island, New York approximately 50 miles east of Manhattan. The clubs were founded in Spring 1982. See the history for more information. May 2012 is the 30th anniversary of the club . Both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby currently compete in the Metropolitan Rugby Union in Division 3.
